Broadway box office metrics remained fairly steady in the first week of September compared with the week prior. For Week 15 of the 2026-2027 season (ending Sept. 6), the 25 running productions grossed a total of $26,258,361, a 2% increase from the previous week. Attendance decreased by 1.4% while capacity increased by 2.5%.
However, compared with Week 15 of the 2025-2026 season, box office numbers were up overall, with grosses 4.5% higher than in Week 15 of last season, even though there were two fewer shows running last week than during the same time period last season. Attendance was up by 2.7% and capacity by 9.1%. Of note, Week 15 of the current season included Labor Day weekend, which fell during Week 14 of the prior season.
