Global entertainment agency Gersh has announced the appointment of Ross Weiner to the position of agent, effective Sept. 8. As part of the agency’s talent division, Weiner will focus on identifying and developing theater opportunities across Gersh’s roster of performers.
Weiner will collaborate with other Gersh agents to find opportunities for clients on Broadway and Off-Broadway. Weiner will report to Randi Goldstein, senior partner and co-head of Gersh’s New York office.
A graduate of Emerson College, Weiner began his career at Paradigm Talent Agency. He later spent eight years at ICM Partners and Creative Artists Agency (CAA), following CAA’s 2022 acquisition of ICM. Weiner also sits on the avant-garde committee of the Park Avenue Armory.
“Ross brings deep relationships across the theater community and a real understanding of how stage work can complement and strengthen a client’s broader career,” said Leslie Siebert, president of Gersh, in a statement. “His experience and perspective will be a tremendous asset to our clients and our team.”
According to Gersh, Weiner’s appointment will help expand the agency’s presence in New York and its ability to create greater opportunities for clients across multiple entertainment media. The agency currently serves clients across film, television, theater, comedy, digital media, branding, publishing and sports in 17 countries.
