“Schmigadoon!” has announced an original Broadway cast recording set for a summer 2026 release. The album will be produced by Theatrical Rights Worldwide in partnership with Joy Machine Records. Official release dates for the digital and physical formats will be announced soon.
Adapted from the television series of the same name, “Schmigadoon!” centers on the romantically strained couple Josh Skinner and Melissa Gimble. While attempting to mend their fading relationship, the pair stumbles into a mystical village called Schmigadoon, which operates exactly like a Golden Age musical.
The cast recording will feature the full Broadway cast, headed by Alex Brightman as Josh and 2026 Tony nominee Sara Chase as Melissa. The company also includes 2026 Tony nominee Ana Gasteyer, Ann Harada, Brad Oscar, Isabelle McCalla, Ivan Hernandez, Maulik Pancholy, Max Clayton, McKenzie Kurtz and Ayaan Diop.
