Color Factory, an interactive art experience with a location in New York, has announced an exclusive collaboration with the Broadway musical “Wicked.” Starting June 13, guests are now invited to experience a limited-time makeover of the space’s “confetti room.”

Newly decorated in pink and green, in honor of “Wicked,” the exhibit, open to the public through Sept. 9, invites guests to view lit neons and flying confetti in the musical’s signature color palate. As part of the exhibit, a range of edible treats and custom digital frames as well as a “Wicked” photo booth are available to guests.

Created in 2018, Color Factory invites visitors to experience the joys of color through multisensory installations, immersive rooms and carefully curated moments. In each of its locations, Color Factory collaborates with artists, art institutions, nonprofits and brand partners to display varieties of art and color.

“Wicked,” which began Broadway previews on Oct. 8, 2003, and opened on Oct. 30, continues its hit run at the Gershwin Theatre. A prequel to “The Wizard of Oz” based on Gregory Maguire’s novel, the musical features a book by Winnie Holzman, music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, direction by Joe Mantello, choreography by Wayne Cilento and musical direction by Stephen Oremus.

“Wicked” is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Stage Productions, the Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone.
