Choir Boy announces one-week extension

“Choir Boy” announced a one-week extension Wednesday, after receiving positive reviews following its opening at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. The Tarell Alvin McCraney play will now play through Feb. 24.

“Choir Boy” announced a one-week extension Wednesday, after receiving positive reviews following its opening at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

The Tarell Alvin McCraney play will now play through Feb. 24. The existing cast will remain through the extension, including lead Jeremy Pope, playing Pharus Jonathan Young, who also stars in “Ain’t Too Proud,” which begins previews on Feb. 28.

The Manhattan Theatre Club production also features Nicholas L. Ashe, Daniel Bellomy, Jonathan Burke, Gerald Caesar, John Clay III, Chuck Cooper, Caleb Eberhardt, Marcus Gladney, J. Quinton Johnson and Austin Pendleton.
