American Theatre Wing is named a winner of the 5th annual Anthem Awards

Broadway agency Situation was also recognized.

The American Theatre Wing has been named a silver winner for the category of Education or Literacy Program or Platform in Education, Art & Culture in the fifth annual Anthem Awards. The Wing was honored for its “Master Class” series. Anthem winners are selected by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

In related news, the Broadway marketing firm Situation Interactive was named the winner of an Anthem Award for an intern summit that was produced by the agency in summer of 2025.

“This hasn’t been an easy year for the impact sector, but the Anthem Awards community has once again stepped up to provide hope and change lives no matter the circumstances,” said the Anthem Awards’ general manager Patricia McLoughlin in a statement. “This year’s finalists are an exemplary group of change makers that we are excited to uplift and celebrate over the next 16 days.”

Launched in 2021 by the Webby Awards, the Anthem Awards honors the purpose and mission-driven work of people, companies and organizations worldwide, working across seven core causes: diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging; education, art and culture; health; human and civil rights; humanitarian action and services; responsible technology; and sustainability, environment and climate.

This year’s judges included Nancy Brown (chief executive officer of the American Heart Association), Heather Malenshek (chief marketing officer of Land O’Lakes, Inc.), Kim Getty (chief executive officer of Deutsch), Tony Award-winning actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Belén Frau (global communications manager of Ingka Group), Linda Roth (chief communications officer of World Central Kitchen) and C.D. Glin (global head of social impact of PepsiCo and president of PepsiCo Foundation), among others.
