‘Almost Famous’ announces new dates and Broadway theater

“Almost Famous” has announced new dates for its Broadway run. Previews will now begin Oct. 3 with an opening night set for Nov. 3 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. It had previously been announced that previews would begin Sept. 13 ahead of an Oct. 11 opening night.

“Almost Famous” has announced new dates for its Broadway run.

Previews will now begin Oct. 3 with an opening night set for Nov. 3 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

It had previously been announced that previews would begin Sept. 13 ahead of an Oct. 11 opening night.

The new musical, which received its world premiere at The Old Globe in San Diego in 2019, has a book and lyrics by Cameron Crowe, who wrote and directed the 2000 film of the same name, and music and lyrics by Tom Kitt.

“Almost Famous” is produced on Broadway by Lia Vollack and Michael Cassel.
