In advance of the release of “Wicked: For Good,” Universal Pictures is partnering with New York City’s Rockefeller Center for a week of celebratory events. The activations will be held from Nov. 16-21 at 30 Rockefeller Plaza between 49th and 50th Streets and Fifth and Sixth Avenues in Manhattan.
“Wicked: For Good” is being released wide on Nov. 21. The follow-up to 2024’s first film tells the closing of the story adapted from Winnie Holzman and Stephen Schwartz’s Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical and the novel by Gregory Maguire.
A rundown of the various experiences at Rockefeller Center can be found below.
“Wicked: For Good” at Top of the Rock
With the purchase of a Top of the Rock observation deck photo pass, guests can capture a moment with an exclusive “Wicked: For Good” movie backdrop. Each pass also includes an exclusive “Wicked: For Good” movie poster, available for a limited time. There will also be an Elphaba and Glinda costume display at the entrance of Top of the Rock, featuring original costumes worn on-screen by the cast of the film.
“Wicked” Skate Nights at the Rink
During the evenings of Nov. 16-21, the Rink at Rockefeller Center will transform into the Emerald City on ice, featuring music from the first film and special pink and green lighting. Visitors presenting a Top of the Rock ticket will receive a discount on admission.
Kids and Family Event at Rockefeller Center
On Nov. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., a series of Emerald City-themed activities will take place. Kids can take part in a coloring station, help build an interactive Lego mural, receive giveaways and enjoy “Wicked: For Good” photo ops. Guests with a Top of the Rock pass will receive priority access to Family and Kids Day activities.

Throughout the week, visitors can explore large-scale Lego builds that re-create some of the film’s scenes and characters.
