Paramount Hotel announces partnership with three Broadway shows

The hotel will offer a Broadway Show Package for a limited time, allowing visitors to bundle Broadway tickets with their hotel stays.

Three Broadway shows have partnered with the Paramount Times Square hotel. The hotel has introduced the Broadway Show Package, a bundle that includes a stay at the Paramount, two cocktails at the hotel bar and two tickets to one of three Broadway shows: “Operation Mincemeat,” “SIX” or “Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York).” The partnership, which began on July 8, is currently set to run for eight weeks, available to book through Aug. 30 for stays through Sept. 2.

Visitors can choose their show when they book a stay in a deluxe king room at the Paramount through the package. See the Generator hotel group website for more details.

“The package streamlines the planning process by combining hotel accommodations and Broadway show tickets into one easy booking,” said Maddie Greenberg, partnerships and promotions coordinator for the Pekoe Group (the advertising and marketing firm represents the three aforementioned shows and arranged the partnership). “Beyond the convenience, guests receive guaranteed premium seats at a flat rate for their selected performance, ensuring certainty and value. Rather than coordinating multiple reservations and navigating fluctuating ticket prices, travelers can book a complete experience in a single transaction.”

Pekoe and GO PR, the public relations firm representing the Paramount, conceived of the program following an earlier collaboration at Midtown’s Kixby Hotel. Featuring unique key-card holders and “Do Not Disturb” signs themed after “Two Strangers,” the holiday program prompted the firms to embark on a broader partnership.

Founded in 2009, the Pekoe Group is a New York-based ad agency that represents restaurants, cultural institutions and theatrical productions throughout the city. In addition to “SIX,” “Mincemeat” and “Two Strangers,” Pekoe’s current clients include the Museum of Broadway, TDF and Off-Broadway productions like “Masquerade” and “Music City.”

The Paramount Times Square is located on 46th Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues. “Operation Mincemeat” is currently in the second year of its Broadway run at the Golden Theater. “SIX” is now in its fifth year at the Lena Horne Theatre. “Two Strangers” opened this past season and continues its run at the Longacre Theatre. All three productions were nominated for the Tony Award for Best Musical in their respective seasons.
