“Operation Mincemeat” has added an evening performance on Feb. 22. The Sunday date was originally set to offer only a matinée but will now play two performances. The evening show will mark the final performance of original cast members David Cumming, Claire-Marie Hall, Natasha Hodgson, Tony Award winner Jak Malone and Zoë Roberts. Cumming, Hodgson and Roberts are the creators of “Operation Mincemeat,” along with Felix Hagan.
The new, American cast will begin performances on Feb. 24. Casting has yet to be announced. A waitlist for both Feb. 22 performances is currently open.
“We could not be more ecstatic to be able to share our final few hours on Broadway with 790 more people on Sunday night in the added show,” said the four “Mincemeat” creators, also known as SpitLip, in a statement. “It’s a testament to our incredible fans that have been with us from day one. We are doing this for them.”
Broadway’s “Mincemeat” is currently on sale through Sept. 13. The musical opened at the John Golden Theatre on March 20, 2025. Inspired by true events, “Mincemeat” follows a group of MI5 agents as they devise a plan to redirect Hitler and his troops away from Sicily in hopes of a victory for the Allied forces in World War II.
Directed by Robert Hastie, “Mincemeat” features a Tony Award-nominated book and score by SpitLip. The production was also nominated for a Tony for Best Musical.
“Operation Mincemeat” is being produced on Broadway by Avalon in association with SpitLip.
