NYC Broadway Week, the city’s biannual program of 2-for-1 ticket deals on select Broadway shows, returns from Jan. 20-Feb. 12 as part of New York City Tourism + Conventions’ Winter Outing 2026. Tickets for the winter promotion go on sale on Jan. 7 at 10 a.m.
The Broadway Week program, which began in 2011 as a way of boosting ticket sales and the local economy during seasonal tourism downturns in January and September, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. Twenty-six Broadway shows are offering the promotion, include ”& Juliet,” “Aladdin,” “All Out: Comedy About Ambition,” “The Book of Mormon,” “Buena Vista Social Club,” “Chess,” “Chicago,” “Death Becomes Her,” “The Great Gatsby,” “Hadestown,” “Hamilton,” “Hell’s Kitchen,” “Liberation,” “The Lion King,” “Maybe Happy Ending,” “MJ the Musical,” “Moulin Rouge,” “Oedipus,” “Oh, Mary!” “Operation Mincemeat,” “The Outsiders,” “Ragtime,” “SIX,” “Stranger Things: The First Shadow,” “Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)” and “Wicked.”
“NYC Winter Outing has become a cherished annual tradition as we welcome the new year that drives critical revenue for local businesses and fuels our communities across the five boroughs during the slower winter months,” said Julie Coker, president and CEO of New York City Tourism + Conventions, which presents Broadway Week in partnership with the Broadway League. “This is the ultimate value period for visitors to enjoy all that New York City has to offer.”
Concurrent with Broadway Week, the organization is running NYC Hotel Week, which offers 25% discounts on bookings at more than 150 hotels throughout the city from Jan. 2-Feb. 12; NYC Restaurant Week, which offers prix fixe two-course lunches and three-course dinners at nearly 600 restaurants across the five boroughs from Jan. 20-Feb. 12; and NYC Must-See Week, which offers 2-for-1 tickets at nearly 80 other New York attractions, also from Jan. 20-Feb. 12.
In fall 2025, the Broadway League reported that the Broadway Week promotion had added more than 2,700,000 admissions and over $196 million in gross revenue to Broadway over the last 14 years.
Promotional partners for NYC Winter Outing include Audience Rewards, James Beard Foundation, OpenTable, Telecharge, Ticketmaster and Amtrak.
