‘Liberation’ to offer free childcare for limited attendees of Jan. 25 performance

Interested theatergoers can apply for in-home babysitting services.

Broadway’s “Liberation” has teamed up with Parent Artist Advocacy League for the Performing Arts and Media (PAAL) to provide free in-home childcare to a limited number of attendees’ for the play’s Jan. 25 performance.

Childcare will be provided by a member of Broadway Babysitters for up to five hours. Interested theatergoers may apply for limited spots. Selected families will receive a confirmation email from Broadway Babysitters with additional steps.

“Liberation” is written by Bess Wohl and directed by Whitney White. The dramedy follows a group of women in 1970s Ohio as they meet for a weekly consciousness-raising group. As these women bond, they support each other through the challenges of being a working woman, married woman, unmarried woman and overall person in society.
