The Broadway League has officially announced a Feb. 24 return for Kids’ Night on Broadway, with 18 shows set to participate. Organized by the Broadway League, the program invites anyone 18 and under to attend a Broadway show at no cost when accompanied by an adult purchasing a full-price ticket.

“Kids’ Night on Broadway can play an important role in introducing the magic of Broadway to young people and their families,” said Jason Laks, president of the Broadway League, in a statement. “By welcoming new audiences, this program creates lasting memories, builds the next generation of theater lovers and reminds us of Broadway’s role as a family-friendly cultural experience.”

This February’s participating shows include “& Juliet,” “Aladdin,” “All Out: Comedy About Ambition,” “Buena Vista Social Club,” “Chicago,” “Hamilton,” “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” “Maybe Happy Ending,” “MJ,” “Moulin Rouge!,” “Operation Mincemeat,” “SIX,” “Stranger Things: The First Shadow,” “The Great Gatsby,” “The Lion King,” “The Outsiders,” “Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)” and “Wicked.”

The designated performance date for both “The Great Gatsby” and “SIX” will be Feb. 25. (Participating shows are subject to change.)

Kids’ Night on Broadway will be celebrated with a variety of in-theater activities, such as talkbacks, sing-alongs, art projects and special activity books. Additionally, the Museum of Broadway and 16 local restaurants in the Theater District will offer exclusive discounts on Feb. 24 for event attendees.

As a year-round national audience development initiative of the Broadway League, Kids’ Night on Broadway is designed to introduce live theater to young audiences. Beyond its flagship presence in New York City, the program takes place in various cities across the country throughout the year, with different venues and shows offering their own take on the event.
