How to watch the 2025 Tony Awards

The annual celebration of achievement on Broadway will take place on June 8.

The 78th annual Tony Awards ceremony, honoring the 2024-2025 Broadway season, will take place on June 8 at Radio City Music Hall. For those tuning in, here’s how to watch.

The Tony Awards pre-show, known as “Tony Awards: Act One,” will stream live from 6:40 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. ET on the Pluto TV website or app. Viewers can find the show by clicking on the “Live Music” channel found within the entertainment category. Tony winner Renée Elise Goldsberry and 2025 Tony nominee Darren Criss will host the pre-show, which will be available to watch for free (no subscription necessary). The pre-show will include the announcement of several awards.

Immediately following “Tony Awards: Act One,” the 2025 Tony Awards ceremony will air live on CBS television network from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. ET. Additionally, viewers can stream the ceremony live on Paramount+. Those with a Paramount+ Showtime subscription can watch live or anytime after the ceremony. For those with a Paramount+ Essential subscription, the Tony Awards will not be available to stream live, but rather on-demand beginning on June 9.

Tony winner Cynthia Erivo will host the 8:00 p.m. ceremony which will feature previously reported performances from “Buena Vista Social Club,” “Dead Outlaw,” “Death Becomes Her,” “Floyd Collins,” “Gypsy,” “Just in Time,” “Maybe Happy Ending,” “Operation Mincemeat,” “Pirates! The Penzance Musical,” “Real Women Have Curves” and “Sunset Boulevard,” along with a special appearance by the 2019 Tony Honor recipient Broadway Inspirational Voices.

Broadway News will be hosting an exclusive “Live from the Red Carpet” special, streaming on the Broadway News Facebook page, beginning between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m  ET as attendees arrive at Radio City Music Hall.
