After decreasing throughout August, Broadway box office metrics began to steady at the end of the month. For Week 14 of the 2026-2027 season (ending Aug. 30), the 26 running productions grossed a total of $25,753,182, a 3.7% increase from the previous week. Week over week, attendance increased by 2.2% and capacity by 1.9%.
Compared to Week 14 of the 2025-2026 season, box office numbers remained down overall. Grosses are 15.9% lower than Week 14 of last season, which grossed $30,631,166. Attendance is down by 5.8%, while capacity is down by 2%. Of note, Week 14 of the current season had two fewer productions running than the same week of the previous season.
