As the end of the 2024-2025 season approaches, Broadway’s box office maintains robust totals despite a week-over-week drop. Gross for the 40 shows offered during week 50 of the season (which included the May 1 announcement of the 2025 Tony Award nominations) accumulated to $43,063,490. This represents an 8.3% decrease from the previous week (the week ending April 27, when the same number of shows were running). Attendance also dipped, but to a lesser extent. The total Main Stem admissions tallied came to 332,820, down 3.6% from the week prior. Nevertheless, this marks the sixth consecutive week of Broadway attendance surpassing 300,000. Capacity was down 4.3%, with 88% of available seats filled.
