Multiple Broadway box office metrics declined in Week 13 of the 2026-2027 season. For the week ending Aug. 23, the 26 running productions grossed $24,840,816, a decrease of 8% from the previous week. Attendance fell by 3.1%, while capacity slipped by 1.5%. Of note, Week 13 had one fewer production running than Week 12; the Tony Award-winning revival of “Ragtime” closed on Aug. 16.
Compared to Week 13 of the previous season, Broadway remains down overall. Grosses are 13.3% lower than Week 13 of last season ($28,634,041), while capacity is down by 3.5%. Notably, Week 13 of the current season had two fewer productions running than the same week of the previous season.
