Lincoln Center Theater will present two upcoming events tied to its current Broadway revival of “Ragtime.” The production will host a post-show conversation titled “The Black Experience in ‘Ragtime’” and a separate SiriusXM Front Row panel and cast album signing at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, where the revival is scheduled to run through Aug. 2.

“The Black Experience in ‘Ragtime’” will take place on April 14 following the evening performance. All those attending the performance are welcome to stay for the discussion. Moderated by producer Lamar Richardson, the panel will feature Audra McDonald, who won a Tony Award for her portrayal of Sarah in the original 1998 production, and Brian Stokes Mitchell, who was nominated for his turn as Coalhouse Walker Jr. in that same original mounting. They will be joined by current cast members of the Lincoln Center Theatre revival: Joshua Henry (who plays Coalhouse), Nichelle Lewis (Sarah), John Clay III (Booker T. Washington) and Allison Blackwell (Sarah’s Friend).

On April 23 at 2 p.m., Lincoln Center Theater, SiriusXM and Concord Theatricals Recordings will present a SiriusXM Front Row panel and cast album signing. The event will feature Henry, Caissie Levy (who plays Mother) and Brandon Uranowitz (Tateh), along with lyricist Lynn Ahrens and will be moderated by SiriusXM host Julie James. Additional participants scheduled for the signing include Lewis, Shaina Taub (Emma Goldman), Anna Grace Barlow (Evelyn Nesbit), Clay and Rodd Cyrus (Harry Houdini).

Attendance for the April 23 event is first-come, first-served for a limited number of fans, with advance registration required. The panel will air beginning May 6 on SiriusXM’s On Broadway channel and the SiriusXM app.

The cast recording, released in January 2026, is available in digital, two-CD and two-LP vinyl formats. The album was produced by Sean Patrick Flahaven, Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, with recording, editing and mixing by Ian Kagey and mastering by Oscar Zambrano.

Directed by Lear deBessonet, “Ragtime” features a Tony-winning score by Ahrens and Flaherty and a Tony-winning book by Terrence McNally. The production also features choreography by Ellenore Scott, scenic design by David Korins and costume design by Linda Cho, among other creative team members.

“Ragtime” is being produced on Broadway by Lincoln Center Theater in association with Tom Kirdahy, Kevin Ryan, Robert Greenblatt and Lamar Richardson.
