A second edition of “Broadway Dream Roles” will return for a one-night-only event April 20 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. The concert, which features Broadway performers singing roles they have not previously performed onstage, is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
The concert will feature a lineup of Broadway performers sharing songs tied to roles they have not had the opportunity to play, along with personal stories about their connection to the material. Performers and special guests for the 2026 event will be announced at a later date.
The inaugural 2025 edition included performers such as Tom Francis, Jennifer Holliday, Lesli Margherita, Andrea Martin, and Jasmine Amy Rogers.
“Broadway Dream Roles” is supported by corporate sponsors the New York Times and United Airlines.
