Whitney Leavitt to make Broadway debut in ‘Chicago’

Leavitt is an alum of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” and “Dancing with the Stars.”

Television star Whitney Leavitt will take her Broadway bow in “Chicago” in 2026. Leavitt will play the role of Roxie Hart for a six-week limited engagement from Feb. 2 through March 15 at the Ambassador Theatre. Leavitt will succeed current star Kate Baldwin.

“Chicago” will mark the Broadway debut of Utah native Leavitt, who is most known for appearing on the Hulu series “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.” Most recently, Leavitt was a semifinalist on season 34 of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.”

Directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking, “Chicago” features a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Ebb.
