Tony Awards sets dates for 2020 events

The Tony Awards has announced the timeline of official events leading up to the ceremony on June 7. After nominations are announced on April 28, the Tony Awards will host a “Meet the Nominees” press reception on April 30 at Sofitel New York. The Tony eligibility cut-off date is April 23.

The Tony Awards has announced the timeline of official events leading up to the ceremony on June 7.

After nominations are announced on April 28, the Tony Awards will host a “Meet the Nominees” press reception on April 30 at Sofitel New York. The Tony eligibility cut-off date is April 23.

A Tony nominees’ luncheon will be held on May 19 at the Rainbow Room. And the Tony Honors Reception, which celebrates the recipients of Tony Honors for Excellence in Theatre, will take place on June 1 at Sofitel New York.

As previously announced, the Tony Awards ceremony will take place at Radio City Music Hall and will be broadcast on CBS.
