During its last weekend of performances, “Hell’s Kitchen” will hold a final series of post-show performances. After the evening production on Feb. 21, show creator Alicia Keys and original cast members Maleah Joi Moon, who won a Tony Award for her performance as Ali, and Tony nominees Shoshana Bean and Brandon Victor Dixon will perform songs from the show and others that didn’t make it into the musical for the audience.

Keys has offered a number of such “encore” sessions over the course of the production’s run. Show producers recently announced that the musical will be closing on Feb. 22.

Having made its world premiere at Off-Broadway’s Public Theater in October 2023, “Hell’s Kitchen” transferred to Broadway’s Shubert Theatre, opening on April 20, 2024. At the 77th annual Tony Awards, the musical was nominated for 13 awards, including Best Musical. Moon and co-star Kecia Lewis took home Tonys for Best Actress and Best Featured Actress, respectively. The production’s original cast recording also won the 2025 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.

Featuring a Tony-nominated book by Kristoffer Diaz and direction by Michael Greif with choreography by Camille A. Brown, “Hell’s Kitchen” is inspired by Keys’ own story of the discovery of her musical talents and desires.

“Hell’s Kitchen” is produced by AKW productions. Aaron Lustbader serves as executive producer.
