Audiences will now have more chances to catch “Operation Mincemeat.” The Tony Award-nominated new musical has scheduled a fourth extension to its run at the Golden Theatre, with performances now slated to run through March 15, 2026. The show’s prior extension was until Feb. 15.

Set in 1943, “Operation Mincemeat” follows the real-life World War II British deception operation of the same name. The musical blends elements of farce, thriller and caper to tell the story of a covert operation that turned the tide for the war. Directed by Robert Hastie, “Operation Mincemeat” began Broadway previews on Feb. 15, 2025, and opened on March 20.

A transfer of the Olivier Award-winning West End production, “Operation Mincemeat” is written and composed by the U.K. comedy group SpitLip, which includes David Cumming, Felix Hagan, Natasha Hodgson and Zoë Roberts. In addition to Cumming, Hodgson and Roberts, the musical’s cast includes Claire-Marie Hall and Olivier Award winner Jak Malone, all reprising their performances from the West End and all making their Broadway debuts. Malone took home the 2025 Tony Award as Best Featured Actor in a Musical; the show also received Tony nominations in the categories of Best Book, Best Original Score and Best Musical.

“Operation Mincemeat” is being produced on Broadway by Avalon in association with SpitLip.
