Music Theatre International has acquired the worldwide licensing rights to “Tootsie.”
“It is a genuine privilege to be entrusted to promote and deliver ‘Tootsie’ to professional and amateur stages around the world,” said Drew Cohen, president and chief executive of MTI.
“Tootsie” is currently playing at the Marquis Theatre, where it opened on April 23. The musical has a national tour planned for the fall of 2020, as well as forthcoming international productions on the West End, Australia and Japan.
