Grosses analysis: ‘Maybe Happy Ending’ breaks a record; ‘Pirates’ plays to standing room in final week

For the week ending July 27, the 28 currently running productions grossed $31,581,085.

Broadway’s box office slid during week nine of the 2025-2026 season. For the week ending July 27, total gross for the 28 current Main Stem offerings came to $31,581,085, marking a 6.7% decrease from the previous week (the week ending July 20, when one additional show was playing). Attendance slipped 4.2%, with 246,701 admissions counted. Capacity, however, remained constant, with 93.2% of available seats in theaters filled.
