Grosses analysis: ‘Mamma Mia!’ starts strong; most shows slip at box office

For the week ending Aug. 3, the 28 currently running productions grossed $30,062,727.

Broadway’s collective box office dipped during the 10th week of the 2025-2026 season. Total ducats for the current 28 offerings came to $30,062,727, which is 4.8% less than the previous week (the week ending July 27, when the same number of productions were on the boards). Attendance decreased 3.9%, with 236,981 Main Stem admissions counted. Capacity went down 2.2%, with 91% of available seats in theaters filled.
