After a frigid, snowy week (which saw 10 productions cancel performances and box office grosses fall on most shows), Broadway bounced back this past week. Grosses for week 36 of the 2025-2026 season totaled $31,766,855, an increase of 6.1% over the previous week. Attendance likewise jumped 7.6% week over week to 269,655 tickets sold, and capacity rose to 91.3%, an increase of 1.3% from the previous week.

Twenty-three of the week’s 31 shows posted increases in grosses. “Mamma Mia!”  showed the greatest increase by pure dollars and cents, as rose $392,259 in its final week on Broadway, an increase of 27.4%. The ABBA musical played eight performances during the week ending Feb. 1, compared to the seven it played the week prior (with one performance canceled due to the storm). “The Lion King,” which canceled two performances the week ending Jan. 31, leapt $342,972 (an increase of 26.9%), and “Aladdin” brought in an additional $264,563 (an increase of 37.5% over its previous six-performance week). The Disney shows showed the second- and third-greatest dollar increases week over week.
