Broadway’s box office had a robust rebound following a week of decreased gross and attendance. During the week ending Sept. 14, which encompassed the first week of the NYC Broadway Week two-for-one ticket promotion, the 28 currently running productions earned a collective $30,128,088. This represents a 19.9% increase from the previous week (the week ending Sept. 7, when one fewer show was on the boards) and marks the highest week-over-week gross increase of the 2025-2026 season. Attendance grew 11.7% (which is also the largest week-over-week percent increase to date this season) with 240,283 Main Stem admissions tallied. Capacity jumped 9.8%, with 91% of all available seats in theaters filled.
