“Freestyle Love Supreme” has recouped its capitalization costs after 14 weeks of Broadway performances.

The show was capitalized for up to $3.6 million, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The show began previews on Sept. 13 and has seen high attendance throughout its run, with guest stars including Lin-Manuel Miranda, one of the group’s creators, James Monroe Iglehart, Wayne Brady and Christopher Jackson.

In addition to its high attendance, the show has been pulling in higher grosses in the weeks surrounding Christmas and New Year’s Eve. “Freestyle” had its highest grossing week in the week ended Jan.5, bringing in $971,364 or 110% of its gross potential.

It will play its last performance at the Booth Theatre on Jan. 12, a previously announced one-week extension to its closing date.

The show was created by Thomas Kail, who directs the Broadway run, Miranda and Anthony Veneziale in 2004.

A documentary film about the group will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on Jan. 28.
