Manhattan Theatre Club (MTC) has announced a slate of programming as part of its “Beyond the Stage” series. The new round of programs will be framed around MTC’s Broadway premiere of “Punch,” a new play based on the true crime book “Right from Wrong” by Jacob Dunne. The programming will offer audiences and the general public opportunities to enrich their experience connected with the show. The lineup can be found below.

Sept. 12: “The Real People Behind ‘Punch’: Navigating Healing and Forgiveness”
Following the 8 p.m. performance will be a one-night conversation with the real people who are portrayed in “Punch.” Audiences will get an intimate look into how the story of Dunne was dramatized for the Broadway stage and how those impacted by Dunne — including the parents of his victim — have formed an unlikely bond in the name of advocacy, healing and forgiveness. This post-show conversation will be moderated by Broadway News executive editor Ruthie Fierberg and feature playwright James Graham and director Adam Penford, as well as Joan Scourfield and David Hodgkinson — the parents of James Hodgkinson — and their court-appointed restorative justice facilitator Nicola Fowler.
