The upcoming revival of “Death of a Salesman” has received an eight-week extension. Originally scheduled to run for 14 weeks, the limited-engagement production will now run for 22 weeks, through August 9, at the Winter Garden Theatre. Previews will begin on March 6, ahead of an April 9 opening night.
Final casting has also been announced. Rounding out the company are Katherine Romans, Mary Neely, Aidan Cazeau, Charlie Niccolini, Alexis Bronkovic, Erik Kilpatrick and Brendan Donaldson.
“Death of a Salesman” will star Tony Award winners Nathan Lane as Willy Loman and Laurie Metcalf as Linda Loman, with Tony nominee K. Todd Freeman as Charley, Christopher Abbott as Biff Loman, Ben Ahlers as Happy Loman, Jonathan Cake as Ben Loman, John Drea as Howard, Tasha Lawrence as the Woman, Jake Silbermann as Stanley and Michael Benjamin Washington as Bernard, along with Joaquin Consuelos, Jake Termine, Karl Green and Jack Falahee.
Led by Tony-winning director Joe Mantello, the production will feature movement direction by Sasha Milavic Davies, original composition by Caroline Shaw, scenic design by Chloe Lamford, costume design by Rudy Mance, lighting design by 2025 Tony winner Jack Knowles, sound design by Tony nominee Mikaal Sulaiman and hair and wig design by Robert Pickens.
“Death of a Salesman” is being produced by Scott Rudin, Barry Diller and Roy Furman.
