“Every Brilliant Thing” has added a preview performance to the start of its run. The show will have a 2 p.m. matinée prior to its 7:30 p.m. evening performance on Feb. 21.

Written by Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe and directed by Macmillan and Jeremy Herrin, the one-person show follows a man as he looks back on his life and the glimmers of hope that carried him through.

Star Daniel Radcliffe was mostly recently on Broadway in the 2023 revival of the musical “Merrily We Roll Along.” He won a Tony Award for his performance as Charley Kringas in the show.

“Every Brilliant Thing” is scheduled to officially open on March 12 and continue for a limited engagement through May 24 at the Hudson Theatre.

The play is being produced by Second Half Productions, Seaview and Gavin Kalin Productions.
