Concord Theatricals reports new executive hires and promotions

The licensor has announced multiple new hires and promotions across its executive suite.

Concord Theatricals has announced a number of new hires and promotions, including several members of its executive team. Promotions include David Geer, former vice president of music and publications, who has been promoted to senior vice president, publications and retail; Casey McLain, previously vice president of retail and system operations, is now Concord’s senior vice president, systems and operations. The “Crumple Zone” playwright Buddy Thomas now takes on the title of senior vice president, international licensing.

In addition to the promotions, Concord has announced two new hires: Rosey Strub, a producer for Paula Vogel’s Bard at the Gate virtual play reading series, as Concord’s vice president, artistic strategy, and Nicole Azizi, former controller at Broadway Licensing, as vice president, accounting and controller.

Concord, a theater licensing, recording, production and publishing company, licenses an extensive catalog of theatrical works to theatermakers throughout the world. Concord’s own theatrical productions have received three Tony Awards, while its recordings have won two Grammy Awards over the past six years.

“We’re very fortunate to have an extraordinarily dedicated team of theater people, many of whom have been working in licensing for over a decade and some of us much longer,” said Sean Patrick Flahaven, Concord’s chief theatricals executive, in a statement. “We are grateful to draw on their experience, acumen and collaboration to best serve our clients and customers.”
