The Entertainment Community Fund (ECF) has announced the results of its board of trustees election. Annette Bening, first elected chair of the board in 2023, was reelected to the same position. She will be joined by new vice chair Chris Keyser. Alex Elmaleh, Michael Miller and Michele Mulroney have been newly elected to the board, with Kenny Leon rejoining.

In addition, the Actors Fund Home, a rehabilitation and care facility for entertainment industry workers, has welcomed new board members Courtney McCormick and Tahesha Way. Five new members have joined ECF’s Western Council, which works to increase financial support and fundraising efforts in the western region; the new members are Tripper Clancy, Shean England, Siedah Garrett, Dawnn Lewis and Erik Nuri.

“We are proud to welcome this exceptional group of professionals to our board of trustees,” said Bening in a statement. “Each individual brings deep roots in the entertainment industry and a genuine understanding of what it means to build a life in the arts. Their leadership will be invaluable as we continue to grow our services and deepen our commitment to the entertainment community. I am also thrilled to work even more closely alongside Chris, whose years of dedication to the Fund make him a remarkable partner in his role as vice chair.”

Founded in 1882, the Entertainment Community Fund (formerly the Actors Fund) offers a variety of services to entertainment industry workers, including social services, financial assistance and career development, in addition to resources for health insurance and housing. Its board of trustees establishes the policies that ECF follows in administering its programs and services.
