Tony Award-nominated actor Adam Pascal will direct an invite-only workshop presentation of the new musical “Our Little Secret.” The presentation will be held at New 42 Studios on March 26.
Written by and starring Noam Tomaschoff, the autobiographical musical is based on a real-life journey of discovery that ensued when a home DNA test revealed that Tomaschoff was biologically unrelated to his father and had more than 35 siblings. The musical features music by Ryan Peters, who is a high school drama and English teacher in Toronto and a childhood friend of Tomaschoff’s.
Pascal was nominated for a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award for his portrayal of Roger Davis in the original Broadway production of “Rent.” Pascal later appeared on Broadway in “Pretty Woman: The Musical,” “Something Rotten!” “Chicago,” “Aida” and “Cabaret.”
“Our Little Secret” debuted at the Toronto Fringe Festival in 2023, where it was awarded Patrons’ Pick and Best of Fringe. It played the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2024, followed by a run at Montreal’s Segal Center in 2025.
The March 26 workshop presentation will feature general management by Sam Dallas of Envoy Theatricals.
“Our Little Secret” is being produced by Russell Citron, a co-producer of the Tony-nominated “Operation Mincemeat” and another childhood friend of Tomaschoff’s. “Our Little Secret” is his second collaboration with Tomaschoff and Peters — the trio co-wrote and performed an original musical titled “Just a Regular Day” while in high school.
