The National High School Musical Theatre Awards (NHSMTA), also known as the Jimmy Awards, have announced the 58 regional awards programs (up from 55 in 2025) that will nominate student performers to participate in the 10-day intensive. The program will culminate in the 17th annual Jimmy Awards ceremony on June 22 at the Minskoff Theatre.

Each program selected will choose two local student performers and sponsor their travel to New York City to participate in the Jimmys. Presented by the Broadway League Foundation, the awards include a 10-day theater workshop involving coaching, training and rehearsals with Broadway professionals. The program concludes with the students performing in front of an audience on a Broadway stage, after which a panel of judges will present awards and scholarships.
Founded in 2009 by Nederlander Alliances, Pittsburgh CLO and Broadway Education Alliance (BEA) and named for late Broadway theater owner James M. Nederlander, the Jimmy Awards have given away more than $9 million in educational scholarships. According to a press representative for the Jimmys, more than 90 former participants have gone on to perform on Broadway and in national tours.
