“The Notebook” has scheduled post-show programming following the April 2 performance at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. Ingrid Michaelson, who penned the music and lyrics for the new musical directed by Michael Greif and Schele Williams, will perform. Cast members will host a question-and-answer session, as well. The event, which is being co-presented by American Express, is open to all ticket holders of the 7 p.m. performance.

This announcement marks the fifth Broadway production to schedule events following a performance since the start of 2024. “A Beautiful Noise,” “Chicago,” “Purlie Victorious” and “Water for Elephants” recently offered post-show programming.

In addition to Michaelson’s score, “The Notebook” features a book by Bekah Brunstetter based on the 1996 novel by Nicholas Sparks. The musical follows Noah and Allie, whose young love is at odds with the different worlds they each call home. The production began previews on Feb. 10 and opened on March 14. An original cast album will be released digitally on April 19.

“The Notebook” is produced by Kevin McCollum and Kurt Deutsch.
