Members of the creative team from the Broadway musical [“Smash,”](https://www.broadwaynews.com/robyn-hurder-and-caroline-bowman-will-star-in-smash-on-broadway/) as well as its central performer, appeared on CBS News Sunday Morning on April 6\. The musical’s Tony Award-winning director, Susan Stroman, Tony-winning composer-lyricist team Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman and Tony-nominated actor Robyn Hurder discussed the journey of [adapting “Smash”](https://www.broadwaynews.com/why-producer-steven-spielberg-wanted-broadways-smash-to-differ-from-the-tv-series/) from an NBC television series to the stage.

“Smash” began previews at the Imperial Theatre on March 11\. The musical is slated to open on April 10.
