The 2024 revival of “The Wiz” has dropped a music video for the act-one closer “Be a Lion” featuring Nichelle Lewis as Dorothy and Kyle Ramar Freeman as the Lion.

Following previews that began on March 29, “The Wiz” [opened](https://www.broadwaynews.com/the-broadway-review-a-busy-revival-of-the-wiz-still-doles-out-verifiable-fun/) on April 17 at the Marquis. The production concluded its limited engagement on Aug. 18\. Prior to its Broadway bow, the musical toured the country; the national tour will [resume](https://www.broadwaynews.com/the-wiz-will-return-to-the-road-in-2025/) in February 2025\.
