Lonnie Ali, widow of boxing heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali, and Richard Willis, lead producer of the Broadway-bound musical “Ali,” appeared on CBS News Chicago to discuss the upcoming musical.

As [previously announced](https://www.broadwaynews.com/broadway-bound-muhammad-ali-musical-will-make-world-premiere-in-chicago/), “Ali” will begin performances at Chicago’s James M. Nederlander Theatre on April 22, 2025, for a limited engagement through May 18\. “Ali” will feature music by Teddy Abrams, lyrics by Clint Dyer and Q-Tip and a book by Dyer, who will also direct.
