# Watch Lear deBessonet deliver a TED Talk about the Arts for EveryBody initiative

Lear deBessonet recently gave a TED talk explaining the genesis of her [Arts for EveryBody](https://www.broadwaynews.com/how-the-national-arts-for-everybody-initiative-could-change-the-theatrical-ecosystem/) initiative. The program, working under the idea that the arts can lead to healthier and happier communities, will premiere unique, large-scale art projects/productions in 18 American cities on July 27, all of which respond to the prompt “no place like home.”
