A behind-the-scenes video of the “Wicked” motion picture adaptation has been released. Director Jon M. Chu explains how building the world of Oz is a synthesis of production design, visual effects and special effects.

The “Wicked” film will be released in two parts; part one will premiere in cinemas on Nov. 22\. The movie will star [Cynthia Erivo](https://www.broadwaynews.com/watch-cynthia-erivo-discuss-her-experience-working-on-the-wicked-film/) as Elphaba, Ariana Grande as Glinda, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero and Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard.
