“To Kill a Mockingbird” has once more broken its box office record, reaching a gross of $2.24 million for the week ended Oct. 13.

This is the ninth time the production has broken its own box office record at the Shubert Theatre. The play, which began previews on Nov. 1, 2018, [was capitalized for](https://broadwaynews.com/2019/04/26/to-kill-a-mockingbird-announces-recoupment/?ref=broadwaynews.com) up to $7.5 million and recouped its capitalization 19 weeks after opening.

“To Kill a Mockingbird” has maintained a capacity of 100% or above for the entirety of its run so far.

A new cast, [led by Ed Harris](https://broadwaynews.com/2019/10/03/to-kill-a-mockingbird-announces-new-cast-for-second-year-of-run/?ref=broadwaynews.com) as Atticus Finch, begins on Nov. 5.
