# ‘The Who’s Tommy’ sets full casting for Broadway revival

Casting is now finalized for the upcoming Broadway revival of “The Who’s Tommy.” The [previously announced](https://www.broadwaynews.com/the-whos-tommy-to-receive-broadway-revival-in-2024/) production, staged by the musical’s original director, Des McAnuff, will begin previews on March 8 and open on March 28 at the Nederlander Theatre.

The newly announced ensemble includes Haley Gustafson, Jeremiah Alsop, Ronnie S. Bowman Jr., Mike Cannon, Tyler James Eisenreich, Sheldon Henry, Afra Hines, Aliah James, David Paul Kidder, Tassy Kirbas, Lily Kren, Quinten Kusheba, Reese Levine, Brett Michael Lockley, Nathan Lucrezio, Alexandra Matteo, Mark Mitrano, Reagan Pender, Cecilia Ann Popp, Daniel Quadrino, Olive Ross-Kline, Jenna Nicole Schoen, Dee Tomasetta and Andrew Tufano.

They will appear alongside the [previously](https://www.broadwaynews.com/ali-louis-bourzgui-will-lead-tommy-on-broadway/) [announced](https://www.broadwaynews.com/bobby-conte-adam-jacobs-alison-luff-and-more-will-lead-the-whos-tommy-on-broadway/) Ali Louis Bourzgui as Tommy, Alison Luff as Mrs. Walker, Adam Jacobs as Captain Walker, John Ambrosino as Uncle Ernie, Bobby Conte as Cousin Kevin and Christina Sajous as the Acid Queen — all of whom will be reprising their performances from a 2023 pre-Broadway engagement at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre.

With music and lyrics by Pete Townshend and a book by Townshend and McAnuff, “Tommy” is based on a 1969 album by the band The Who, which tells the story of Tommy Walker, a boy who appears to be deaf and blind but is able to express himself by playing pinball.

In addition to McAnuff, the revival’s creative team will be led by choreographer Lorin Latarro, music supervisor/arranger Ron Melrose and music director/orchestrator Rick Fox.

“The Who’s Tommy” is being produced by Stephen Gabriel and Ira Pittelman.
