“The Prom” will launch a national tour beginning in Providence, Rhode Island in February 2021.

In addition to the tour, “The Prom” announced a worldwide licensing deal with Theatrical Rights Worldwide.

Additional cities for the tour will be announced at a later date.

“The Prom” opened at the Longacre Theatre on Broadway on Nov. 15, 2018\. The musical also recently announced [a Netflix adaptation](https://broadwaynews.com/2019/04/09/ryan-murphy-to-create-film-adaptation-of-the-prom/?ref=broadwaynews.com) of the musical as well as [a young adult novel](https://broadwaynews.com/2019/04/22/the-prom-will-be-adapted-into-a-young-adult-novel/?ref=broadwaynews.com) adaptation.
