“The Band’s Visit” will launch a national tour next summer, beginning in Providence, Rhode Island.

The Providence stop will take place in June 2019\. Exact dates and more cities will be announced at a later date.

In addition to the launch of the national tour, “The Band’s Visit” announced a new block of tickets on sale for the Broadway show through Feb. 17, 2019.

The musical opened at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on Nov. 9, 2017 and has [received 11 Tony nominations](https://broadwaynews.com/2018/05/01/spongebob-mean-girls-top-tony-nominations-list/?ref=broadwaynews.com).
