# Rachel McAdams-led ‘Mary Jane’ confirms opening night date

“Mary Jane” has confirmed its opening night date. The [previously announced](https://www.broadwaynews.com/rachel-mcadams-to-make-broadway-debut-in-amy-herzogs-mary-jane/) play by Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony Award nominee Amy Herzog will officially open on April 23 at Manhattan Theatre Club’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Previews will begin on April 2 for a limited run through June 2\. 

Academy Award nominee Rachel McAdams will star as the titular character, a single mother navigating her community as she cares for her chronically ill son. Anne Kauffman will direct.

Additional cast and creative team will be announced at a later date.

“Mary Jane” is being produced by Manhattan Theatre Club, under the leadership of artistic director Lynne Meadow and executive director Chris Jennings.
