“Paradise Square” has canceled performances through April 10, the production announced Friday.

The show is planning to resume performances on April 12, according to a statement from producers. The decision to cancel more shows is attributed to “Broadway COVID protocols established by the industry.”

This follows [the production’s cancellation](https://broadwaynews.com/2022/04/07/paradise-square-cancels-thursday-performance-due-to-covid-19/?ref=broadwaynews.com) of its April 7 performance due to the detection of COVID-19 cases in the company.

“Paradise Square” opened at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on April 3\. The new musical has played 23 previews and 3 regular performances to date.

Off-Broadway productions, including “Suffs” and “Heartland,” have also been affected by the recent surge, leading to missed performances.
