Nick Rashad Burroughs will take over the role of Ike in the Broadway company of “Tina,” producers announced Monday.

Currently in the musical’s ensemble, Burroughs will play the role starting Jan. 18\. Daniel J. Watts, who originated the role, will play his final performance in the production Jan. 16.

Burroughs has previously appeared on Broadway in “Kinky Boots” and “King Kong.”

“Tina” reopened at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on Oct. 8, 2021\. The musical is produced by Stage Entertainment, James L. Nederlander and Tali Pelman.
