The Neil Diamond musical, newly named “A Beautiful Noise,” will make its world premiere at Boston’s Emerson Colonial Theatre in the summer of 2022.

The musical, produced by Ken Davenport and Bob Gaudio, will play the Emerson Colonial Theatre for a four-week engagement from June 21, 2022 through July 17\. After Boston, the musical is aiming for Broadway. 

“A Beautiful Noise,” a biographical musical featuring Diamond’s songs, will [feature a book](https://broadwaynews.com/2019/07/01/neil-diamond-musical-eyes-broadway/?ref=broadwaynews.com) written by Anthony McCarten, screenwriter of “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and direction by Michael Mayer. Steven Hoggett (“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”) has joined the creative team as choreographer.
